4. Execute the Contract: Upon agreement, I formalize the deal with a Purchase & Sale Agreement (PSA), which outlines all conditions, including survey and sea trial.
5. Deposit into Escrow: Your 10% good-faith deposit is wired to a neutral, professional maritime escrow company. This protects your funds until all conditions are met.
6. Survey, Sea Trial & Inspection: I coordinate a comprehensive professional survey, sea trial, and engine inspection. This is your chance to verify the yacht’s condition. I help negotiate any necessary repairs or adjustments based on the findings.
7. Close the Deal: Once all conditions are satisfied, I will finalize the paperwork, ensure the balance of funds is transferred via escrow, and coordinate the exchange of title for keys.
8. Take Ownership: Congratulations! I facilitate the logistics of your new yacht, including documentation, registration, insurance, and yacht management & crew placement if needed.
